The School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), vide Affiliation No. 3330156, for the All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations.

Schooling at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s R. K. Sarda Vidya Mandir is conducted entirely in English medium and is centred around four core dimensions - Values, Physical Skills, Intellectual Skills, and Life Skills. We follow an Integrated Curriculum with equal emphasis on academics and co-curricular activities, fostering the holistic development of every child. Values form the foundation around which all other skills are nurtured and developed.

Our academic approach is student-centric and inspired by Prof. Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. We firmly believe that every child is unique and possesses distinct learning styles and strengths. It is our endeavour to customise learning experiences to suit individual needs. Skill-based learning and competency-based assessment are integral to our system, while rote learning is strongly discouraged. In the foundational and preparatory years, academics are guided by experiential and application-oriented learning, along with the development of essential skills. The curriculum is enriched with activities such as shloka chanting, yoga, meditation, aerobics, clay modelling, drawing and painting, vocal and instrumental music, dance, and a wide range of sports and games including tennis, basketball, badminton, football and volleyball. Every student is encouraged to attain proficiency in at least one sport or activity by the time they graduate from the School.

Our academic calendar is vibrant with quizzes, Olympiads, debates, declamations, TEDx, SPIC MACAY concerts, and various inter-school and intra-school competitions. We strongly believe that active participation in diverse activities, along with exposure to eminent personalities and a rigorous academic framework, contributes to the development of confident, well-rounded, and holistic individuals.
